I took a walk on the darker side with this mixed media painting. It's filled with shadows, layered with fragments of nature, worn textures, and soft marks that drift in an out like thoughts in the night. The deep indigos, charcoal tones, and muted greens create a serene darkness. I think the delicate leaf forms bring a sense of life and resilience rising through it all.
 
The mood is cinematic and intimate, calm and mysterious, and a little haunting in the best way.
